While traveling and living abroad during her career in the fashion industry, Carrie honed her eye for architecture and her love for the decorative arts while scouring antique stores and flea markets throughout Europe. Her passion for antiques and collecting led her to open her own “Paris flea-style” boutique in Marin County, which further developed her decorating skills and knowledge of what clients wanted for their homes. Since opening her first interior design studio in 2001, she has produced a number of large scale residential projects for clients in Sun Valley, San Francisco and Washington DC. She believes that good design is found in the graceful composition of both antique and modern elements, wonderful color and texture, and a bit of the unexpected; the results of her vision are timeless, interesting spaces with a personal feel.
